Chef Richard Conover has a robust resume spanning over 40+ years. He opened the Townsend, was the executive chef at Tre Monti (former Restaurant of the Year), Grosse Pointe Club, and Knollwood Country Club, among several other venues.
We are a scratch kitchen and use top-quality ingredients—always fresh, not frozen. Our meats are house butchered, and our chicken is halal. Vegetables are cut fresh in-house; our pizza dough and all desserts are made onsite. We offer a variety of hot and cold appetizers, flatbreads, crisp refreshing salads, burgers and sandwiches, seafood, steaks, pastas, and Detroit-style pizza. There’s literally something for everyone!
Yes, we have many items that are gluten-free or can be modified to be gluten-free. Please notify your server of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering. Although we make every effort to ensure the safety of your food, our kitchen is not a gluten-free environment, and there is a potential for possible cross-contamination.

With 48 TVs strategically placed throughout the building, you’ll always have a great view of the game no matter where you’re seated.
We are currently offering transient docking at Harbour Club North Marina, right next door to Gino’s Surf, within walking distance to the front door. Contact Trina at 586.469.2638 to book. We are currently not directly accessible by water; however, we are well into the permitting process to add a large docking facility and breakwall.
Our banquet facility, Vista Lago, is planned to be under construction through 2025. The facility will seat up to 500 guests.
Watch for updates on the Gino’s Surf social media accounts as we get closer to an anticipated opening date of our banquet facilities.
